Your Clinical Identity Is Still Taking Shape

Most of what shapes you as a clinician cannot be learned from a textbook. It emerges through cases, through ruptures, through the moments you are not sure what to do next. Good supervision creates a relationship where that process can unfold with support, honesty, and enough challenge to move you forward.
My approach is collaborative, somatic, and relational. Supervision with me moves between consultation, teaching, and exploring your own process as a clinician. The clinical and the personal are often connected, and both are worth paying attention to.
My clinical background is in developmental and complex trauma, somatic approaches, and couples work. I am trained in Hakomi, Lifespan Integration, and attachment-based therapy approaches, all of which inform how I think about the nervous system and the body in the therapy room. That lens shapes how I supervise. We might slow down a moment from a session and notice what was happening in your body as a clinician, or explore what a client’s pattern is pulling for in you.
I use the Integrated Development Model as one framework for understanding where you are in your development and what kind of support will serve you best. Some supervisees need more structure and concrete direction. Others are ready to work at the edges of their clinical identity. I try to meet you where you are.
My supervision style draws from the same somatic and relational approaches I bring to my clinical work with individuals and couples.
I also bring direct experience building a private practice, and I welcome associates who are interested in that path.
