HEALING BEYOND THE STORY
Portland Trauma Therapy for Adults and Couples
As a Portland trauma therapist, I work with adults and couples who feel stuck in patterns that thinking alone hasn’t been able to shift.

How trauma may show up
Maybe it shows up as people-pleasing, anxiety, emotional flatness, or struggling to feel close and secure in relationships. While the root of these patterns once had a purpose to get you through, later on they can get in the way of your well-being and relationships. My role is to help you see them clearly and shift into a truer self.
I work well with people experiencing:
Anxiety, hypervigilance, or always waiting for something to go wrong
Feeling flat, numb, or going through the motions
Saying yes when you mean no, or losing yourself in others’ needs
Chronic self-doubt or a persistent sense of not being enough
Difficulty trusting or feeling safe in close relationships
Disconnected from your own feelings or needs
Grief, loss, or major life transitions
Burnout or loss of purpose
How I Work
Mindful, somatic therapy goes deeper than the story. Together we slow down enough to notice what is happening in your body right now, and sometimes revisit earlier experiences to offer what was missing then. That process can feel quietly profound. The nervous system can update. Patterns that formed long ago can shift.
As a Portland trauma therapist, I draw on Hakomi, Lifespan Integration, and Primary Attachment Therapy for individuals, and PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) and Gottman Method for couples. I also provide clinical supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Associates in Oregon. For those who want a different kind of therapeutic experience, I offer Role-Playing Game Therapy.
When you are ready, I welcome you to schedule a free consultation. It is a low-pressure conversation to see if we are a good fit. You can also reach out through my contact page if you prefer.
